Trailer Build - Enclosed

After years of being pulled all over the country, Goldy's hire trailer was overdue for some love.

We stripped her back to the bare frame, repairing the damage and rust as we went. The axles were salvaged but that was about all. The floor was replaced and additional tie down points added.

Repairs, and alterations to the frame

The mud guards, safety chains, tow hitch, rocker suspension, wheel hubs and brakes were all replaced with new parts. The trailer is often used for moving furniture, or precious motorcycles, so we wanted it to be 100% waterproof. We added a pitch to the roof frame and reskinned the trailer using flexible adhesive. Some aluminium angle over the corner joins and the trailer stays bone-dry.

Starting to come together, new skin

We chose a dark charcoal colour for the panels and we think it looks great with the new Goldy's logo!! The drawbar, tailgate and mud guards are finished in a 2-pak black. And finally, we added some new alloy wheels and tyres.
